Letter to the Future does not perform prior or continuous supervision of letters sent or published by users. However, the platform reserves the right, on its own initiative or after receiving a notification, to review, edit or delete public letters that:

  • Contain offensive or discriminatory language.
  • Promote violence, hatred or self-harm.
  • Include personal data of third parties without their consent.
  • Violate the law or undermine the values of the project.

This review process is reactive and not systematic, and is carried out only when there is a reasonable cause or specific complaint.
