You have a memory from 2024-12-15
Hey,
December 15th. Today felt heavier than it should have. Nothing terrible happened, but everything took more effort than usual. Even answering messages felt like lifting weights.
If you’re reading this later, check in honestly: are you resting or just stopping? There’s a difference. Scrolling isn’t rest. Numbing out isn’t rest. Real rest leaves you a little clearer afterward.
I hope you learned to protect your energy without making excuses for it. To say: “I’m offline tonight,” and mean it. To cancel plans without spinning a whole story to justify it.
You don’t owe constant availability to anyone. Not work. Not friends. Not even the version of you that thinks being busy equals being valuable.
Slow days are not wasted days. Sometimes they’re the ones that keep you going.
Take it easy,
Me
